little time, little time

So, I guess I should probably update. Though, it is hard to update without photos and all. This summer I am taking no art classes, and am taking Botany and Philosophy, which probably means I wont have a lot of time for art. I do plan to eventually take photos of all my stuff from this last semester. So far, my summer has consisted of me reading a lot and bumming and working. Though I have been really busy and I have no idea why. I plan on trying to get some paintings done at least, here's hoping....

Volcanoes and Flying Ponies

One of my assignments for serigraphy was to take one of my prints and try to recreate it somewhere and take a photo. Here is what I came up with. Enjoy.

I plan on going back and adding shadows from the fish, and a few more touches here and there. My crtique was fantastic, I was told this one is on a different level than the others. And, I cropped it really well. I feel good.

These are both from this semester, I'm going for the humorous what the hell effect I think. Really I'm juxtapozing weird things I find. More to come as I create them.

bow chica bow wow

Spring Break was good to me, I enjoyed my vacation. But, now it is time to get back into my art again. Here is my latest painting and its not done, but you get the idea. I might possibly have an interview for the Daily coming up about the student art show. We'll see...also I'm going to try and get into another show...here's hoping.
