Disaster Flood.

I don't know what is going one with the weather in Oklahoma, but its been crazy lately, and in Oklahoma we are used to crazy.  But, a crazy snow storm where people are stranded, a hail storm which ruins people's roofs, and now torrential rain. All in the last 6 months? Global warming?  Probably.  I almost didn't make it to work that morning and a mile down the road from my work, people had to be rescued from their cars.

A really good friend of ours house was 2 feet under water, they wanted to evacuate him by boat.  If you watched the news at all, he lives in the Valley.   It was horrible, Kris has been over at Stone's house, with a bunch of our friends, ripping up carpet, the brand new wood floors, ripping out dry wall up to 4 ft, ripping out doors.  Everything has to be taken back down to the bones.  And, he didn't have flood insurance along with the rest of the neighborhood.

No one was hurt, so thank God for that.  But, its still emotionally damaging.  The neighbors had their family photos in the yard trying to dry them out.  If you pray, pray for them.  If you don't, keep them in your thoughts or pray anyway.

If you see the dirt line on the wall or chair that's how far the water came, all in a matter of an hour and a half and it stayed for 6 hours.  The drywall has to ripped out 2 ft over that.

MARRIED!!!!

I finally feel like posting, and of course I am now married!  The wedding was awesome, not a thing went wrong, it was perfect.  My sister took some amazing photos, we had two photographers, so I can only vouch for my sister's photos so far.  So lucky April got to take some even though she was one of the maids of honor.

The Sand Plum was beautiful, and the coordinator, Lindsay was amazing.

The honeymoon was great very relaxing, we drank wine, ate amazing food, and chatted with good people at the B&B.  We definitely want to go back in the future, and if you are ever in Healdsburg, or even in Wine Country, stay there.

The Armstrong Redwood Forest was amazing.
